The City of Grande Prairie wishes to advise pedestrians of upcoming construction activity to complete bridge repairs within Maskwoteh Park commencing Tuesday, March 26.

On behalf of Alberta Transportation, contractors are conducting repairs to the underside of the bridges crossing Bear Creek at the Highway 43 bypass. The contractors are accessing the site via the paved pedestrian trail located at Maskwoteh Park and travelling to the Highway 43 underpass at Bear Creek.

Trail users accessing Maskwoteh Park trails from either Centre 2000 or 117 Avenue and 108 Street should use caution when accessing this area and obey all construction signage.

Work is anticipated to be completed by Monday, April 1.
