The City of Grande Prairie is gearing up for the second annual Eastlink Centre Triathlon on Sunday, September 9.   

A variety of race options are available for participants of all ability, experience and age levels. This includes the Try-A-Tri, Sprint, Team Sprint and the Kids of Steel Senior/Junior/Youth/Mini options.

Registration fees range from $50-85 with an early bird rate available on select options until August 9. Deadline to register is Monday, September 3 at 11:59 p.m.

All participants will receive an official t-shirt, swag bag, finisher medal and carb-load dinner the night before.

Volunteer Opportunities

To make the event a success, 100 volunteers are being sought to assist in a variety of event day duties. Volunteers will receive a free t-shirt and start the day with a free breakfast. Sponsorship Opportunities

Three sponsorship package opportunities are available for businesses interested in supporting the event: Presenting Sponsor, Volunteer and Recovery Row Sponsor and Kids of Steel Sponsors, which allow youth age 6 to 15 years old to participate in the triathlon free-of-cost.

The Eastlink Centre Triathlon is sanctioned by the Alberta Triathlon Association with funds raised from this event going to support local youth sport initiatives.
