The City of Grande Prairie is spreading holiday cheer for registered Grande Prairie Accessible Transit (GPAT) riders this December through a special seasonal initiative.
Registered GPAT customers can enjoy free round-trip rides to the Northern Spirit Lights Show at Evergreen Park on December 7, 8, 14, 15, 21 and 22. Each trip includes a drive through the spectacular light displays followed by a route around town showcasing some of the most beautifully decorated houses, starting at 6 p.m. on the selected evenings.
Bookings can be made by calling GPAT dispatch at 780-830-7433.
“Grande Prairie Accessible Transit plays a vital role in fostering connectivity and inclusivity in our community,” said Grande Prairie Mayor, Jackie Clayton. “Providing free transportation to the Northern Spirit Lights Show ensures GPAT customers can enjoy this festive experience while enhancing social connection and community well-being.”
