On behalf of City Council and the residents of Grande Prairie, I want to sincerely thank Councillor Wendy Bosch for her service. She has been a trusted colleague and advocate for economic and community growth.

During her time on Council, Wendy has helped advance key Council initiatives, including the transition to the Grande Prairie Police Service, the Health Care Attraction and Retention Strategy and strengthening our city’s reputation as a premier events destination by hosting major competitions like the 2024 Alberta Winter Games, the National Aboriginal Hockey Championships and the upcoming Special Olympics.

While we will miss Wendy at the Council table, we know she will continue to serve our community as CEO of our valued ally, the Grande Prairie & District Chamber of Commerce.

Congratulations, Wendy! We look forward to working with you in your new role and wish you every success.

Jackie Clayton
Mayor of  the City of Grande Prairie
