Grande Prairie City Council has accepted the resignation of City Manager, Horacio Galanti from his position as Chief Administrative Officer.

City Council thanks him for his years of service and leadership to the City of Grande Prairie. His work has been valuable in improving the services offered to the City of Grande Prairie residents.

Community Services Director, Arlen Miller will fill the role of Acting City Manager. Council is confident Mr. Miller’s wealth of municipal and leadership experience will serve the organization in this critical role.

A comprehensive search for a permanent City Manager will be undertaken by City Council in the coming months.
