2024 Business Improvement Area Budget Review

Council approved bringing the 2024 Business Improvement Area (BIA) budget to the City Council meeting on March 11, 2024 for review and approval; and notifying the businesses within the BIA, of the above date, by letter, accompanied by a copy of the proposed budget.

Public Hearings

Council passed amendments to the Land Use Bylaw that will rezone the subject area and allow the owner to temporarily farm the land until development occurs.

Council passed the Municipal Development Plan. The updated Municipal Development Plan builds on multiple other studies, strategies and plans completed by administration over the past decade. Key changes were made such as incorporating current data, simplifying for clarity, and adding Land Acknowledgment and Truth & Reconciliation policies.
