Council amended the Bear Creek Engagement Plan to allow for Council decision to be made in Spring 2026. Council approved the Bear Creek Dam Engagement Plan as amended. 

Prescription to Get Active Membership

Council approved Administration to pursue membership into the Prescription to Get Active not-for-profit corporation.

Grant Recommendations

Council approved funding allocations for Arts Development – Festival Funding, Pursuit of Excellence Funding and Sport Hosting Grant.

Amendments to Policy 317 – Funding for Large Scale Tourism Events

Council approved amendments, to Funding for Large Scale Tourism Events Policy 317, including updating definitions and aligning the policy to organization structure changes.

Council received the 2022 – 2025 Strategic Priorities Progress Update for information.

Extended Producer Responsibility Update

Council chose the opt-in Service Model and directed Administration to negotiate service contracts with Aquatera to continue providing recycling services in the City. Council also directed Administration to bring a report to the appropriate Standing Committee in April 2026 providing an evaluation of the performance of the EPR program within the City.
