Delegations

The Grande Prairie Regional Hospital Foundation presented as a delegate to provide information regarding the future strategy and vision of the organization. They have asked Council for advocacy support to the appropriate provincial government leadership. Council directed Administration to bring catheritization lab and enhanced cardiac services at the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital to a future Council Committee of the Whole.

Jeff Keddy presented as a delegate regarding the Stormwater Drainage Bylaw.

Stormwater Drainage Bylaw

Council has post-poned decision on the Stormwater Utility Bylaw to a future meeting in order to provide opportunity for further community consultation with the inclusion of a budget comparison. Council directed Administration to present a report exploring three alternative models: flat rate, capped rate and uncapped rate as well as a potential new incremental bracket system program.

Borrowing Bylaw C-1428A

Council passed Borrowing Bylaw C-1428A. The amendments increase the City's operating line of credit to provide for the borrowing room to fully fund any short-term shortfalls in cash on hand.
