Here are the highlights from the City Council meeting held on August 12, 2019:

2019 Tax Sale

Council approved a list of properties prepared by the Assessment and Taxation department for the 2019 Property Tax Sale.

The auction is taking place on Friday, November 29 starting at 9:00 a.m. in the North Conference Room at City Hall.

Council Discretionary Spending

Council received Procedure 100.1- Guidelines for Council Event Attendance for information.

The amended procedure requires Council members to provide a brief summary of information obtained from attending optional events that incur expenses totalling 25% of the annual Council Professional Development Account.

It is included as part of the Council Discretionary Spending policy.

Regional School Sites

Council appointed Councillor Bressey as a representative to the Regional School Sites Committee.
