The public is advised of a full road closure on a portion of 111A Street between 84 Avenue and 89 Avenue to allow for underground pipe construction as part of the Richmond Industrial Storm Ponds Project.

The road closure is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, August 7, and will continue for approximately two-and-a-half weeks, weather permitting.

Motorists are reminded to use caution when navigating around the construction zone.

The Richmond Industrial Storm Pond Project consists of constructing new storm ponds to assist in water drainage in the area and mitigate the risk of over-land flooding during major storm events.
