About the Survey

The Resident Satisfaction Survey is conducted biennially to help Council and staff gain a clearer understanding of residents' views on City operations. This information enables the City to address key concerns and allocate resources more effectively.

This year's survey, carried out by Forum Research Inc., involved a randomized telephone survey with 402 participants. The results were weighted to accurately represent Grande Prairie's population and were mostly consistent with previous surveys, with some notable differences.

The survey supports the City’s key performance indicator of external satisfaction and provides a baseline for tracking public opinion trends and benchmarking against similar municipalities.
