Final preparations are underway to welcome the community to the Grande North Winter Festival on January 13 to 15 with three days of winter fun at three locations.

The City of Grande Prairie is pleased to announce the return of the Grande North Winter Festival, taking place January 13-15, 2023.
The Grande North Winter Festival is a weekend-long, walkable winter festival downtown that showcases our city. The event features activities and entertainment throughout the downtown core including Bonnetts Energy Centre, Montrose Cultural Centre and Muskoseepi Park.

A variety of sponsorship opportunities are now available for different activities at Grande North Winter Festival.
Grande North is a walkable winter festival taking place throughout downtown Grande Prairie and into Muskoseepi Park. The event was established in 2022 and saw approximately 9,000 visitors from across northern Alberta in its first year.
Montrose Cultural Centre (MCC) is a contemporary, 105,000 square foot, eco-friendly facility and serves as the anchor for cultural celebration in downtown Grande Prairie. MCC is home to the stunning Art Gallery of Grande Prairie, the modern Grande Prairie Public Library, and Jeffrey's Cafe, with adjoining outdoor patio space. Inside, visitors find the Teresa Sargent Hall, public meeting rooms, 16 parking spaces above ground and 88 underground spaces for your convenience, access to the Mamawe Concourse and a high level of customer accessibility.
The City of Grande Prairie is excited to announce Better Than Fred’s as its new exclusive food and beverage service provider at Bonnetts Energy Centre’s concessions, bars and catering.
Better Than Fred’s is a local eatery known as a community staple for hosting live music and serving authentic real pit barbeque. A limited menu is currently available at Bonnetts with a full selection launching in September.
