The Grande Prairie Regional Emergency Partnership (GPREP) was activated on March 13 in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
A regional task force has been created to assess the current situation, respond to the evolving situation, and execute the GPREP pandemic plan.
GPREP's priority is to ensure the health and safety of our residents, and ensure essential services are maintained.

The City of Grande Prairie declared a state of local emergency on March 18 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Declaring a state of local emergency enables the City to enact additional powers to combat the spread of the pandemic, ensure the stability of core services and support the community.
