- Priority 2 road clearing is underway in Royal Oaks, Crystal Ridge and Copperwood.
- Crews are maintaining ice control and sanding on all priority routes.
- City crews are maintaining all bus stops and trail systems.
- Clearing is underway at Eastlink Centre and Legion Track parking lots.
- Crews will continue to work through the weekend with a full sanding crew Sunday.
Residential snow clearing has been initiated a two-week rotation begins Monday, November 25 in Week A locations, starting with Mountainview, Hillside, Montrose/ VLA.
Parking bans on priority roads begin Monday, November 25, 2024. The ban restricts parking on permanent snow routes (priority 1 and 2 routes) from Monday to Friday between 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. until the ban is lifted.
November 21:
- Priority 2 road clearing is underway in Grande Banks, Mission and Kensington.
- Windrow removal is underway on Priority 2 roads.
- Plows and sanders continue to work on arterial road network and bus routes for ice control.
- Priority bus stops and trails continue to be cleared after last night's snow fall.
- Priority 1 parking lot clearing continues with work starting on Priority 2 lots.
Snow accumulation has not yet reached the threshold to begin residential clearing. No parking bans are currently in effect.
November 20:
- Crews have completed clearing Priority 1 roads and blading in Smith, Cobblestone and Highland Park.
- Windrow removal is underway.
- Plows and sanders are focusing on the arterial road network and bus routes for ice control.
- Priority bus stops are expected to be cleared by the morning of Thursday, November 21, with clearing continuing to Priority 2 bus stops and trails.
- Priority 1 parking lot clearing is in progress.
Snow accumulation has not yet reached the threshold to begin residential clearing. No parking bans are currently in effect.
