All positions to work in the 2022 By-Election have been filled.

We thank all applicants for their interest in this opportunity. Applications will still be accepted for anyone available to be a replacement worker. Applicants will be added to our Standby list and may be called at the last minute (up to and including By-Election Day, October 17) to fill in as a replacement worker at any of the 8 voting stations, as needed. Flexibility on location and ability to report to your assigned Voting Station is required.

Standby workers are essential to the election process, and we thank you in advance for your interest.


The City of Grande Prairie is seeking to hire Election Workers for the 2022 By-Election.

You may apply for the following positions:

  1. Presiding Deputy Returning Officer (PDRO) - Voting Station Supervisor
  2. Deputy Returning Officer (DRO) - Voting Station Workers

Complete the Election Worker Application. If you have any issues submitting the form, please e-mail elections@cityofgp.com

Time Commitment 

  • Election Day: October 17, 2022, from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. (until duties are complete)

Please note, that Election Workers must remain at their assigned voting station for their required duties including end-of-day closing and clean up.
