In response to community feedback, Grande Prairie City Council has postponed the decision on the Stormwater Utility Bylaw. This delay will allow for additional community consultation and a more comprehensive exploration of funding models. Specifically, Council has asked Administration to explore four alternative models.

To collect feedback, the City will host two open house information sessions. These sessions aim to provide detailed information on each proposed funding model along with opportunities to speak with City staff.

Location: Teresa Sargent Hall, Montrose Cultural Centre

Times:

• Morning Session: 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
• Evening Session: 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

The City urges all residents to take part in this opportunity to influence the approach to fair, equitable, and efficient stormwater management in Grande Prairie.
