Sealed Tenders marked for the above, for the City of Grande Prairie, will be received at the Office of the Purchasing Department, up to 2:00 p.m. local time, Friday, April 25, 2008.
The approximate 3 year quantities of work are:
Concrete Removal = 13,943 m2
Crushed Granular = 2,044 m3
Construct Rolled Monolithic Curb& Gutter Sidewalk = 6,819 m
Construct Separate Sidewalk = 455 m
Construct Curb & Gutter Only = 591m
Catch Basin/Manhole Repairs = 31 repairs
Contract documents can be obtained from the City of Grande Prairie Purchasing Department (10205 - 98 Street, Grande Prairie), upon payment of $50.00 deposit, in cash or certified cheque made payable to the City of Grande Prairie, and are available on Monday, April 7, 2008 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 1:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.; Monday through Friday excluding statutory holidays. Deposit will be refunded upon return of documents in good condition, within 14 days of tender close.
Each tender must be accompanied by a certified cheque payable to the City of Grande Prairie for ten (10%) percent of the tender price, or Bid Bond in the same amount. Also, to ensure consideration of the tender, each tender must be accompanied by a Consent of Surety as required by the Contract Documents.
The Consent of Surety must be issued by a Surety Company licensed to do business in the Province of Alberta and must have its respective address, or that of representative agent in this Province, included on that particular document.
The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
