Celebrate culture and diversity at the City’s Heritage Day event!

 This year’s event features:

• Community and cultural booths.
• Old fashioned games and carnival games with prizes, including can toss, shooting gallery and top taffel.
• Drumming circle performance from a local Indigenous group.
• HAM (amateur) radio demonstrations. HAM radios were used as a communication tool back in the 20^th century for people to talk across the world before cell phones were created.
• Interactive demonstrations including ropemaking, old fashioned bingo, a blacksmith and laundry.
• Food trucks with cultural food dishes.
• And more!

Call for community & cultural groups

The City is looking for community and cultural groups to set up booths and participate during the Heritage Day event.  To register your community or cultural booth for the event, contact events@cityofgp.com.
